Here’s a receipt of how much the "Tim Tax" has cost us as taxpayers.
County Judge Tim O’Hare loves to talk about “fiscal responsibility” and “cutting waste.” But when you add up what his political stunts (and incompetence) have cost us, the numbers tell a different story.

The Numbers Don’t Add Up, Tim!
- A lower tax rate. A higher bill. Under O’Hare’s latest tax rate cut, the average homeowner’s tax bill will still INCREASE in 2027.

- $21 million diverted from transportation. To balance the FY2027 budget, O’Hare shifted $21 million dollars in transportation bond interest into the general fund instead of reinvesting it in needed transportation projects.

- $7.8 million from reserves for unbudgeted costs. O’Hare stayed silent as the county tapped reserves to cover overtime the Sheriff failed to budget for.

- $50 million drawn from reserves since FY2025. O’Hare’s budget decisions have relied on county savings to cover spending.

- $150 million more in spending. County spending increased by $150 million in 2023, 2024 and 2025 under O’Hare’s dictator-style leadership, despite campaign ads claiming he cut spending.
